“We plan to announce the tender process next February, we have the green light from Santiago and the Ministry of Public Works,” said Governor Flies. “It will most likely be an international event, inviting foreign companies to form consortia with Chilean companies to bid for the construction of the project,” he added, stressing that there is an interest in developing the maritime ramifications of the complex.

Flies also stressed that the Center will be built where the original technical and topographical studies were made, as it is the best for the iconographic recovery of the region.

Presidential Delegate Jennifer Rojas finally pointed out that Governor Flies is not only fully dedicated to the project, but has also committed matching funds for the International Center.
